Thursdays, September 16 - November 18 (10 weeks)
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
In this intermediate class, students will construct their own handmade chain and pendant. Students will first learn how to make a fine silver, loop-in-loop chain; an ancient Greek and Roman technique used to create strong chains. During the second half of this course, students will make a pendant to go with the chain. Fabricating and stone setting will be used for this project. Soldering skills necessary. Basic supplies will be provided; extra materials will be discussed in class. Recommended for intermediate students.
